Sandra Brown was raised on the North Shore and moved to Evanston in 1968. After attending Kenyon College in Ohio and traveling abroad, she completed her undergraduate degree in education at Northwestern University. Since 1974 to the present, she has managed apartment buildings, formed real estate partnerships for purchase and development, and renovated single family homes and condominiums with her husband. Having also worked as a middle school teacher and managed local family businesses including a restaurant and an antiquarian bookstore, she is well versed in the business of real estate and is committed to the Evanston community.

Since becoming licensed in 1985, she has been a consistent top producer in residential and commercial real estate on the North Shore. In 1991, Sandra and her partner, John Adamson, founded Lakeshore Partners as the principal brokers. In addition , she has been recognized as being in the top 1% of Evanston Realtors for the years 2003 and 2004. Sandra was nominated by her colleagues and received the Chicago/Evanston areas “Most Referred Realtor Award”. She was also recently listed in the Who's Who Registry of Executives and Professionals of 2005-2006.

Beginning in 1982, Sandra has also been an active participant in the Evanston elementary, middle school, and Evanston Township High School PTA’s, Booster Clubs,and girls soccer and basketball teams. Sandra is currently on the board of Y.O.U. (Youth Organization Umbrella). She is married to Charles, a contractor who specializes in renovating architecturally significant homes, and they have two sons, two daughters and a grandson.
