Fanscinated by houses, Emily loves their variety and how they reflect the personality of the owners with just a few simple changes. She is intelligent, persistent, humorous and completely dedicated to facilitating the process by asking the right questions, prioritizing and handling all the details efficiently.
Emily is so enthusiastic about her primary market of Evanston that the license plate on her car is "HEVNSTN." Her involvement in North Shore real estate spans over thirty years. Starting in the early 70s, she sold real estate with Mitchell Brothers, an Evanston company. After children, she worked for ten years in an architect's office, and for four years with developers of high-end construction, both single family and condo/commerical, before returning to residential sales.
Emily has also rehabbed three houses of her own (well, two and-a-half). Her life includes a small practice as a real estate attorney and as a part-time yoga instructor.
The ability to draw on these experinces, coupled with her involvement in the community (including four years as an alderman), make her an outstanding resource for buyers and sellers alike. After more than thirty-six years in Evanston, she knows the schools, parks, shops and people. She can " sell the town" along with the house.
